How to Apply

Before you apply for admission to UDST, here's how you can prepare:

Explore all programs offered at UDST by visiting the program page.
Check the application deadlines.
Review the admission requirements for your chosen program.
Ensure you meet all the admission requirements before submitting your application.

After submitting your application:

You will receive an email with login details for the Applicant Self-Service Portal.
Log in regularly to track your application status and follow up on any outstanding requirements.

Steps for submitting an application to UDST

1. Check the application deadline

Check the application deadline and program offered by visiting the Application Deadlines and All Programs pages.

2. Prepare the required documents

Undergraduate (Bachelor/Diploma):

Copy of the official high school grade report (Grade 12)
Copy of the Passport
Copy of the Qatari ID (not required for international applicants)

Graduate (Master's degree):

Copy of the Passport
Copy of the Qatari ID (not required for international applicants)
Academic transcripts related to the bachelor’s degree.
An employment certificate from the current employer indicating the minimum full-time employment experience in years.

3. Transfer Credits/Course Exemptions:

Transfer Credits/Course Exemptions:

If you have completed post-secondary courses at another institution, you may be eligible for transfer credits or course exemptions. Please arrange for your official transcripts and course outlines to be sent directly from your previous institution to TransferCredit@udst.edu.qa for evaluation.

4. Booking the placement test (mandatory)

As part of the application process, booking the UDST Placement Test is required. However, you may be exempt from taking the test during the evaluation process if you meet if you meet certain criteria, such as:

For Undergraduate application:

You hold internationally recognized test scores that meet our admissions requirements (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, SAT).
You have valid UDST Placement Test scores from the past two years that meet admissions requirements.

For Graduate Application:

You hold internationally recognized test scores that meet our admissions requirements (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, SAT).
You have valid UDST Placement Test scores from the past two years that meet admissions requirements.
You have accreditation from a university that meets UDST’s admission requirements.

If you wish to retake the test despite having valid scores, please email testingcentre@udst.edu.qa for further assistance.

Book the Placement Test(s) (mandatory step)
Pay 300 QAR Application Fees (non-refundable)
Submit the Application

6. Check your application status online

Your application will be reviewed, including document verification and evaluation to ensure it meets the admission requirements for the program. You can check your status through the Applicant Self-Service Portal as updates become available. If any additional information is required, you will receive a notification via email.
