Partnerships and Engagement
The Partnerships and Engagement Directorate acts as the focal point of UDST for external stakeholders. It promotes the University and develops and facilitates relationships with local and international entities, organizations and the community.
Our responsibility is to maintain and promote a strategic partnership with business partners around the world by using the strengths of UDST in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Business, Computing and Information Technology and Health Sciences.

Local Partnerships
- Develop the University’s partnerships, event sponsorships, donations and fundraising policies, procedures, and reporting system and follow up on their implementation.
- Coordinate with business units to gain a strong understanding of UDST’s needs and goals for partnerships.
- Identify partnerships opportunities with local government, businesses, and other organizations to promote mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities.
- Manage an up-to-date and comprehensive database of all government and industry partners, and any future potential partners to increase and support UDST’s community networking initiatives.
International Partnerships
- Facilitate cultural exchange programs, study abroad opportunities, and language immersion experiences.
- Bring together diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching the academic environment and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
- Provide access to a wider range of resources, expertise, and research opportunities, enhancing the quality of education and research outcomes.
- Attract top talent from around the world, including students, faculty, and researchers, fostering innovation and excellence.
- Enable UDST to address global challenges collaboratively, such as climate change, public health crises, and technological advancements.
