FAQ

Each coaching session is different and is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual student. Therefore, there is no set structure to what happens during a coaching session. Each meeting is aimed at assessing how much you progressed since the previous session. This means that at the end of each session, the academic coach will provide the student with a list of tasks to complete in their own time, subjects to review during their next session.

Bring any study material that you use so that the academic coach can better understand your learning skills and preferences.

This will be determined after the completion of the student's first session. The academic coach will assess how many sessions are needed and how often you should be returning to see an academic coach. However, it is highly recommended that the student returns after they have started implementing the action items into their daily routine. This way, the next session can better track the student's progress.

Academic coaching is beneficial for students of all academic levels and disciplines. Whether you are struggling academically, aiming to get high grades, or seeking strategies to enhance your learning experience, academic coaching can help you reach your goals.

Academic coaching sessions can cover a wide range of topics tailored to your individual needs, including study skills development, time management techniques, exam preparation strategies, note-taking methods, goal setting, and motivation enhancement.

Yes, academic coaching sessions are confidential. Your coach will respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding the content of your sessions, unless there is a concern for your safety or the safety of others, in which case appropriate measures may be taken.
