Greetings from College of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades (SETIT).

Engineers, Engineering Technologists, and Engineering Technicians continuously strive to improve the quality of human lives through innovation and improvements. They solve problems through creative thinking and systematic reasoning and development.

At SETIT, with the help state of the art facilities, experienced faculty members and solid programs’ curricula, we shape the future of graduate engineers, technologists and technicians to become community leaders fulfilling the second pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030 ( Human Development Pillar) which calls for “a world-class education system, healthcare system, and an efficient and committed workforce that achieves a competitive labor market that enables Qatar's population to participate in development”. 

We endeavor to provide our graduates the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to excel in the job market from day one of their employment. We employ practical applied courses in industrial settings such as industrial pilot plants, laboratories, and workshops within the school as well as employment of the latest technologies available to build skills and competencies of our graduates to become a distinctive addition and asset to any future employer. World class teaching staff equipped with best educational and industrial experience guide our students through their journey at the School towards success.

The School is currently in the midst of introducing newly needed applied engineering programs to serve the increasing demand of a growing economy within the State of Qatar. Programs will be distinctive and unique to serve the local, regional, and international needs of skilled engineers, Technologists, and Technicians. Therefore, we are continuously looking ahead!
