Students are required to bring their own laptops for their studies at UDST. Your laptops should have the minimum specifications as listed below

During Student Orientation Day, you'll receive instructions on accessing UDST IT Resources with your new device.
Logging in to UDST IT Systems

For the Password please refer to the email in your personal inbox with the subject “UDST Application Submitted” and use the same password as mentioned in the email.
If you encounter any issues logging in or have forgotten your password, please reset your password by following the instructions as mentioned in the Steps to Change your Password section below. Alternatively, you can reach out to our IT support team for further assistance at 974-4495-2470.
Steps to Change your Password
Please update your password to something unique for all IT Systems
- Visit https://password.udst.edu.qa
- When prompted, enter your UDST email address as < [email protected] >
- Enter your mobile number on file in PeopleSoft and click Next
- Enter the verification code from the SMS and click Next
- Enter the new password twice and click Finish
Please ensure you follow the below Password Policy while setting the password.
- Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters
- Passwords cannot contain UDST ID number or name
- Last 10 passwords cannot be reused
- Passwords must contain characters from three of the following four categories:
- Passwords must contain at least one special character (e.g., %, #, @)
- Passwords must contain at least one numeric character (0-9)
- Passwords must contain at least one Uppercase character (A-Z)
- Passwords must contain at least one Lowercase character (a-z)
- Passwords must be changed after 180 days (Users will be notified via email)
