Here are the learning formats categories in which you can present:
- Debate – Four speakers with expertise related to the symposium theme will provide structured arguments representing two opposing views related to the impact of AI in Simulation. The team’s moderator will initiate the debate with a statement and question. Session limited to 20 minutes.
- Oral presentation – Speakers with expertise related to the symposium theme will share specific current and future innovations and examples of integration of AI in healthcare simulation education in a longer plenary talk. Session limited to 20 minutes.
- Majles Aficionados – Symposium participants will gather for an interactive session to seek answers to questions and to discuss opportunities for innovation and integration of AI in simulation education for one of three symposium themes. Three scholars with expertise related to the symposium theme will serve as Majles Aficionados to guide conversations in the Majles; an Aficionado is expert in a particular subject area.
- Poster Exhibition – Visual representations of research and innovations preferably related to the use of AI in healthcare simulation education. The posters will be set up near the symposium area for viewing during nutrition and lunch breaks. Presenters will be available to explain and discuss their posters.
- Spotlight oral presentation on AI and simulation-based education– Six (6) to eight (8) speakers will be selected based on their abstract submission to share 5-6-minute dynamic talks about innovations and examples of the integration of AI in healthcare simulation education and other aspects of simulation-based education.
- Spotlight student oral presentation on AI and simulation-based education - Students, either individually or a group, will be invited based on their abstract submission to deliver a 5-6-minute presentation about how AI and simulation is impacting their learning OR propose ideas about how AI in healthcare simulation education can enhance their learning. These entries will be considered for the student competition.
