All enrolled students are entitled to an ID Card. Steps for acquiring a card for the first time may be found below.
New Students
Incoming students will be required to submit a photo online for ID card production by Facilities. Students who miss the submission deadline will need to visit Facilities upon arrival on campus to have their photo taken and ID card issued.
PHOTO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 24 December 2024
Adherence to UDST dress code is required for all photos. Shoulders must be covered to the elbows and no provocative, low cut t-shirts or inappropriate messages are allowed.

When choosing or capturing a photo, keep the following in mind:
- Head Position: Keep your head straight and facing directly towards the camera
- Face Visibility: Hair, glasses frames, or any other obstructions must not block your eyes. Leave space around the face area. Niqabs are not permitted in the photo
- Head Coverings: Head coverings other than those required for religious reasons are not permitted. They must be worn to show the face from the chin to the forehead. Hijabs and Ghutra are permitted.
- Eliminate shadows on face: Make sure that the lighting is properly positioned so that shadows do not fall on your face
- Recent Photo: You must include a photo of yourself that reflects your current appearance.
- Color Photo Required: Photos in black and white or grayscale are not accepted
- Photo Size: Photo should be at least 4.5 cm in height x 3.5 cm in width. Face should cover at least 25% of the photo.
