FAQ

The study buddy program pairs students together to provide mutual academic support and encouragement.

The matching process typically involves completing an application on Navigate 360 where students provide information about their availability and course preference. The program then uses this information to match students with compatible study partners.

Benefits include increased motivation, improved retention of course material, enhanced study skills, opportunities for peer learning, and developing a support network.

Study buddies may engage in activities such as reviewing lecture notes, discussing course concepts, working on assignments or projects, quizzing each other, or providing moral support during exam periods.

The frequency of meetings can vary depending on the preferences and schedules of the study partners. Some may choose to meet weekly, biweekly, or as needed leading up to exams or assignments. Study Buddies have the freedom to choose when to meet.

Program coordinators are typically available to address any concerns or conflicts that may arise between study buddies. Hoewever, they can help mediate issues and facilitate re-matching with a new study partner.

Participation is voluntary, but highly encouraged for students seeking additional academic support and social collaboration.

Information on how to join the program will be available on Navigate 360.
