In a remarkable feat, the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) Charity Week team has emerged as the top fundraiser among schools, colleges, and universities in Qatar. The team raised an impressive 64,853 Qatari Riyals, as officially announced during the Annual Charity Week Finale Dinner held on November 25 at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University Lecture Hall.
Charity Week, an international event promoting the spirit of giving, is organized by educational institutions worldwide to raise funds for children in underserved communities, aligning with shared Islamic and Humanitarian values. In Qatar, Charity Week is conducted in collaboration with Education Above All.
The dynamic UDST Charity Week core team included the following students:

This year's Qatar Charity Week Team, comprising leading schools, colleges, and universities in the country, collectively raised an astounding 388,992 QR—twice the amount raised in 2022 and the highest globally among participating countries.
Sumaiya Rizwan, UDST Charity Week Representative, shared her excitement, expressing exhilaration at the overwhelming success and impact of this year's events. She highlighted the collaborative spirit of student volunteers and the generous support from the UDST community, resulting in a total fundraising amount exceeding 12 million Qatari Riyals across eight countries. Sumaiya expressed pride in being part of this initiative, gratitude for the new friends and memories made, and anticipation for Charity Week's return to UDST next year.
