Work Placements and Internships

College of Computing and Information Technology

Following are the options we offer for entities to utilize our pool of talented students:

  1. Work placement for students – This is designed to support students in their transition from the university environment to a work environment. The Work Placement course is a program requirement that enables students to apply the knowledge, skills, and competencies gained through the academic program to a practical work environment. It offers opportunities to analyze real-world work challenges, propose solutions, and practice learned theories and concepts. Students gain diverse work-integrated learning experiences that emphasizes the development of communication, critical thinking, ethics and leadership abilities, collaboration, and teamwork
  1. Internship (outside work placement) - Internships with external entities (industry/academia) to provide students with external work experiences. This is optional and not a graduation requirement for students.

If your organization is interested in engaging our students to provide them with practical experience, please submit your information using the form below. We look forward to getting in touch with you.
